Wild West Towing LLC ("Wild West Towing", "we", "us") runs this website and the tow request form on it. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, call us at (435) 555-0100.
What we collect
- What you type into the tow request form. Your name, phone number, where you are, what you are driving, what happened, and any notes you add.
- Your location, only if you hand it to us. The form has a button that attaches your device's GPS coordinates. Your browser asks your permission first, and nothing is sent unless you tap it and allow it. You can always type an address instead.
- Basic technical information. Standard web server records such as the page you were on, the site that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you clicked.
What we do with it
- Send a truck to you and handle your job.
- Call or text you about that request, including updates on the driver and arrival time.
- Send you an invoice or a receipt.
- Keep our own records of the work we performed.
We do not sell your information, and we do not rent or trade it to anyone for marketing.
Calls and text messages
When you send us a tow request, you are agreeing that we may contact you at the number you gave us about that request, by phone call or text message. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies with the job. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not stop us from calling you about an active job.
Your phone number and your consent to be contacted are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
Who else touches your information
We use outside services to run the business, and they only see what they need to do their job: our website host, our customer and dispatch software, and our phone and text provider. They are not permitted to use your information for anything other than providing that service to us. We may also release information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to respond to an emergency or to a law enforcement request.
How long we keep it
We keep job records as long as we need them for accounting, insurance and legal purposes. If you want your information removed and there is no active job or outstanding balance, call us and ask, and we will take care of it.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we will update this page before we turn them on.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging towing services and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
